Yields EDTA whole blood or EDTA plasma on centrifugation
Required for Haematology tests
GREY Fluoride oxalate tube.
Yields Fluoridated plasma which inhibits glycolysis
Use for Glucose estimations only


The majority of blood tests can be performed if a gold, grey and purple tube are provided. A red top (plain tube) may be used in place of the gold tube.
