PATRICK VAN DER HOEVEN
Pathologist

Patrick van der Hoeven moved from Canada to Gippsland in 1995. He graduated with his MD. from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario in 1985 and interned at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto before opening a General Practice in Wawa. He spent four years doing general practice in Northern Ontario before beginning his specialty training in general Pathology.

Dr. van der Hoeven is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia.

Patrick is married to an Australian and is now an Australian citizen. He and his wife Lucy live in Warragul with their three children, Luke, Julia, and Tori.
