As well as its central laboratory in Traralgon, GPS has five satellite laboratories spread throughout its 40,000 sq. km collection area serving a population of 220,000 people.

The Practice has over 250 staff with a Central Laboratory located at Traralgon, and five hospital based regional laboratories located at Bairnsdale, Sale, Warragul, Leongatha and Wonthaggi. Collectively these laboratories support a network of twenty-four approved collection centres operating throughout the Gippsland region.
